How would you spend your lawsuit earnings?
I love how people think that pain and suffering can be balanced out with money. Someone hit you with their car and break your face? Here's 10 million dollars to ease your pain. Someone not tell you that eating fast food makes you fat, and now you're fat? Well have a couple million bucks and you'll soon forget about your thunder thighs.
Is that why people sue? Because they feel so bad about what happened to them that only money will help them buy happiness? I think it kind of negates the whole victimized argument if you ask for a lot of money, because then you just seem really greedy. I think most lawsuits are done out of greed and spite, not really because people feel victimized and hurt. If they really did, they would want to forget all about it and not even bother wasting time in court over the course of many months or even years.
I also think it's ridiculous how class action lawsuits are just there for lawyers to rake in tons of dough and the people who actually sign up to be a part of the lawsuit actually in the end only make maybe 50 cents or 9 dollars or something silly like that, while the lawyers that actually start the whole thing get millions. Life is just silly that way isn't it?
